Little Elephant FREE pattern

  LITTLE ELEPHANT  FREE   PATTERN  This pattern makes a 5th pattern in my series “little buddies”. So far, it is the most detailed and best formatted pattern of mine. As a doll, this baby can be done in less than an hour, just like all of the other buddies. They are collectable little dolls everyone loves. Small children will love them, they will hold them in their little hands, just like toddlers, who can play with all of them at once, this doll can help their imagination. Maybe is a zoo, or a happy family? Let them think of it. Also, teenagers will love them becouse they are small and can be used as a key chain. Adults will aaprecciate your work. Once you make it, they are a friend for a whole life. I use them when i forget to buy a present, but i have some yarn☺ Skill level: ♥♡♡♡♡ ( beginner )  Out of materials and tolls you will need:     • Crochet hook 3mm    • 6mm safety eyes ( but you could also embroider eyes )    • Yarn ( I used lanoso alara) 50%cotton 50%acrylic  50g=140m C:9

Little turtle free crochet pattern

 LITTLE TURTLE FREE CROCHET PATTERN Also available on  Ravelry  This pattern is designed for begginers. Its very easy and FREE! I used 3mm hook, but i think i will also make obe with 7mm, just for fun. I used lanoso alara yarn. It uses minimal amount, its super for using up your scraps. Materials: Yarn( i used lanoso alara) Hook (i used 3mm) Safety eyes (i used 10mm, but i am sure that smaller would also be perfect)  Filling  Needle  Stitches : MR: magic ring  sc: single crochet  Inc: increase  Dec: decrease  So, here it is: (first we make a circle that will be the bottom of our turtle)  R1: in MR 6sc  R2 :inc all around (12) R3: sc inc all around (18) R4: sc2 inc all around (24) R5: sc3 inc all around (30) R6: sc4 inc all around (36)  Fasten off  (now we make the top of our turtle, i used brown yarn, but i also find very cute when the turtle has watermelon or pumpkin on her body)  R1-R6 : repeat first 6 rows from the bottom of your turtle  R8-R9: sc all around Now, lay it over the whi

How i embroider eyes for my dolls

 How to make eyes for you doll There is plenty of ways. I have made a lots of eyes, trough time.  For example, this one is painted on a piece of felt: I used acrylic paint to get the colour. This wsy is also the easiest way. First you cut a piece of paper that is slightly smaller than how big you want your eye to be. Then, you trace it to the felt. (Don't forget to flip paper when cutting other eye) now, you gonna pain on it (let it dry for about an hour). When its done, sew on a doll. Done! Then, there is this way, also cute: These are pearls i got when my bracelet broke. 🤗 You can also (oc course) use safety eyes, but i wasn't able to find any in our local craft store, so, i had to go with these.  These make perfect eyes for toy animals. (the doll was my first crochet toy)  Then, my Favourite and most beautiful eyes are these : This way is also most complicated and most time consuming way. small crochet doll pattern

SMALL CROCHET DOLL This project is starting from a magic ring and its (almost) all one piece. Hands are made separately. I like my projects to be all one piece because then i have less sewing to do. Also, it makes it a lot easier. And i used two types of yarn. Thicker for the body and thinner for the outfit.    I would not recommend this project to beginners! So here it is: MR- Magic ring sl st- slip stitch sc- single crochet  dc - double crochet inc- increase dec- decrease icord - icord ch - chain You will need : 3mm crochet hook  Pink yarn (for the body)  Brown(or black, yellow,...) yarn for the hair 2mm crochet hook Pink and blue yarn (for outfit)  Thread (to embroider the face)  Needle  *You can use different types of yarn, but then your doll will be different size.  Body: (dimensions : 14cmx4,5cm)  R1: in MR - sc 6 (6) R1: inc all around (12) R2: sc inc all around (18)  R3: sc2 inc all around (24)  R4-R11: sc all around (24)  R12: sc2 dec all around (18) R13:sc dec all around (12)
